This past week is a blur but let me see if I can get your up to date. There wasn't a whole lot that happened during the week. The weekend was a lot of fun -Friday I was able to meet up with some of my AWESOME friends-Erica and Greg, Amy and Danny and Kealey and Clayt and their children-it is always so nice to be able to see dear friends and have some quality time with them.
Saturday-was so beautiful -so I couldn't resist a hike up in Boulder-Zoe the wonder dog was in HEAVEN-We weren't the only ones that took advantage of the beautiful weather-but as we continued hiking higher we saw less and less people-so we were able to enjoy nature all to ourselves. And then that night I was blessed to hangout with some pretty cool nephews -we had a lot of fun.
Monday I was able to have a "Girls night out" with some really great girls. We went to the Nuggets and Pistons game-it was a lot of fun.(I hadn't been to the Nuggets game since like high school-so it has been quite awhile.) We sat close enough that the players could of sweated on us if they wanted too ;) J/K but it was close. It was a lot of fun even though the Nuggets lost.
Today I was able to go see my g-ma in the nursing home and bring Zoe to say hi-it was great to see her. Some of the people there were so cute and just so happy to see a new face. Even though my g-ma won't remember that my mom or I was there it was still nice to see her and see how she was doing.
After rereading what I wrote I really need to take a writing class :) I need to learn to elaborate-but oh well and until I get that class this entry will have to do. Well until next time.

Time Management!!

I need to learn time management-I can't seem to stay on top of this whole blogging thing. I have been so swomped with everything else that I am officially a blog slacker :). Well the past two weeks have been great. First-to start off with two fridays ago I was able to go to the temple with the amazing youth in the Carben Valley ward. It is always a great time to be able to hangout with the youth. They are great examples to me. Then last Friday and Saturday I was able to go up to the mountains with my AWESOME FRIENDS Kealey and Clayt-they are a package deal :) and of course their adorable little girl-Hailey- that's the TOTAL package. We were lucky to go snowboarding-with the weather as scary as it was we weren't sure if we were going to be able to make it up to the mountains but the roads were finally re-opened and off we went. The weather was on our side come saturday morning-we couldn't of asked for a better day of boarding-F-A-N-T-A-S-T-I-C!!! It's always a great day of boarding when I can go with my snowboarding buddy Kealey.
Last Monday night my friend Kelly and I went to Boulder for and activity of Ice Skating-it was so much fun. There were great people to talk to and just a great time to hangout and meet new people.
Wednesday-we had a young women activity and it was new beginnings *(which is an activity to welcome all the new girls that will be coming into the YW during the year) and it was a football game theme and it was so much fun- the leaders were the girls cheerLEADER-and let me tell you that is the first time as well as the last time that I will be a cheerleader :) I don't fit the profile-no offense to anyone that has a dream of being a cheerleader and that is reading this. Love ya ;) Anyways, goodtimes.
Friday-Was a great day the weather was AWESOME and I was running some errands in Boulder so I decided to take my little Zoe on a hike up at Chatauqua-I know I can't spell that correctly-I am not going to even try :). It was so beautiful-I didn't even need a jacket I had a sweatshirt and a hat and off we went- there was enough snow that you could walk on that instead of walking on the clay mud that we so love. Zoe was in heaven until we got back to the car and then she wasn't happy because she knew that we were going to be heading home and she would much rather be in the mountains in the open air. If I would let her she would be hiking everyday and all day. She is a great hiking partner. Then later that night
I went to my first Mammoths game-for all yall that don't know who the Mammoths are it is the Lacrosse team for Denver-I have never watched a Lacrosse game before and let me tell you-THAT IS ONE PHYSICAL GAME-I couldn't figure out the rules because some guys would slam the other guy and hit them with there stick and that was fine but then someone else did something a little more mild and they would get put in the penalty box-but all in all- it was a fun game and fast game to watch-never a dull moment and plenty of fighting going on so you felt like you were getting your moneys worth. :) It's always a great time if you can see a great fight. J/K :)
Well, today (Saturday)was a good day-Christy my sis-in-law threw a spa party and that's always fun to go pamper yourself with great smelling lotions and a great foot massage kit. I also was able to play with some awesome little boys that happen to be my nephews-they are so much fun. I was also blessed to have awesome weather again so I couldn't pass up the opportunity to go hiking again-so I packed up Zoe and off to Boulder we went and this time it was little bit more muddy due to the beautiful weather that melted the snow. But it still was great to be outdoors and enjoy nature even if it was just for an hour. Well I think that I have caught up to the present day and I will try to be a better blogger but there are NO promises :).

WOW!!! Where has this week gone!! Well it has been a fun but busy week. Over the weekend I got to go with the youth in my ward to the Temple and that was a lot of fun. I got to hangout with some AWESOME friends that I hadn't seen in awhile(thats you Amy and Kealey). Sunday was the Super Bowl and the commercials I thought were quite entertaining.
Monday night was a lot of fun-Kelly and I went to Boulder for an activity and it was swing dancing lessons and we are pros now :) not really but we like to think we are. I think the highlight and the funniest part of the whole night was this guy -when he didn't have a dance partner he would just dance around all over the place-not doing swing- but throwing himself all over the place and I couldn't keep a straight face and then I had to dance with him and he was really hard to follow and he would thrust me one way and the try to get me back with him-anyways I guess you had to be there but I was laughing pretty hard. All-in-all it was fun.
Tuesday was a first for me-I went to the caucauses-I am not sure of the SP-and as much as it was interesting it was boring and the guy that was in charge of the group I was in had NO idea what he was doing so that made it even more hard to follow what was going on-but I guess all that matters is I got to voice my opinion in voting for a canidate.
